This is the launch of Kathleen Gallagher's fascinating environmental feature calling us to a closer intimacy with our skies. The film brings together farmers, fishermen and celestial navigators who follow the stars, scientists and business people who develop clean ways of harnessing energy for industry and cleaning up polluted skies and astronomers who watch and listen to the sky, the moon and the stars.

This is a free event. Everyone is invited to bring a picnic to the Gardens to enjoy before the film begins.

A seminar with guest speakers featuring in the movie will run during the day from 2 - 5pm. 

This promises to be a Festival highlight!
