The much loved and widely photographed topiary animals will be on display in the Botanic Gardens throughout the Festival. The Christchurch Garden City Trust, organiser of the Festival of Flowers, has developed the first New Zealand collection of topiary animal sculptures as a legacy to the Garden City. These sculptures are on display during the annual Festival of Flowers and, at other times of year, are on loan to community organisations and businesses to enhance their environments.
The 2012 menagerie includes a baby elephant, baby giraffe, doe, stag, whale, penguins and our new albatross. Come and enjoy a great photo opportunity!
